gideon levy	posted 1/26/04 10:10 PM     Im sorry if this is a bit snhide as i have never done anything like this before and i dont want to offend anyone. i want to say that this site is briliant. thanks go to the holy Jl and shimon for making and writing continuously in this site. I find most things hysterical, mostly poor imitations of me; well okay they are quite good actually. anyway i am deviating and this is costing me a lot of maney being onm the internet for so long not to mention presuos time that could be spent organising events for tzedokah. which is my theory on dons thousand page essay; that he has so much time to be writting these useless essays as opposed to oranging thinks. I would like to respond to a few pionts of false note in his article anyway. firstly when we had our chanukah fair the reason why we didn't want to have your speaker on the same day is for your interests this is becuse they were bringing in money to spend on that day and you previously unmentioned inyour manifesto were charging a price maybe a pound to come and here aspeaker with adoughnut. In order that kids wont be over priced and so would come to your event we informed you that it wasn't a good time to clash events. furthermore this shows that we have the pupils interests in hand not to shover them with so many costs at the same time thus destroying your argument that we atre just greedy for cash. In addition to that the reason why we dont want people in our room as we are usually aranging something and hence chuck people out ,aybe if you were aranging something at the same time you wouldn't be barging in to our room. aslo in response to the idea thaty we are allowed to take people out of lessons whenever we want is proposturous 89excuse my spelling shimon) as we were only allowed one afternon at the end of term for 2 years. we wern't allowed to take other years out andf they did the same thing the year before. furthermore we hjave just been refused permission to take pupils out of evening shuir for a supper quiz and so to suggests we can achieve what we do in lesson time is rediculous we raised are cash mainly in lunch times last year so you are factually incorrect. aslo many of your statements i simply diont know are true and we only have the propaganda of the israel society to bake them up; e.g. the israel society has done nothing; isn't it true that the board that you have put up the things on you put up maybe two weeks agoand the board allocated to you has state the same since last year. but i'm not trying to put down the israel society just defend the insults put against my department in the origonal message. it is for this reason that i ask that we say well done to the israel society for getting rabbi lehrer yto speak well played but i ask why has it taken half the acedemic year ofr us to have aspeech inschool about israel in its time of need. Obviouisly in response to saying how can we improve the society than it would be something that if i say what should haoppen wpould take away thre job of the current society and i wouldn't want to do that as all those meetings are so efective and crucialfor the society. furthermore i offered the chance to work hand in hand with the israel society selling perfectly valuable cds to prom,ote israels need to promote avision of aliyah and support for israel while raising money for terror victims and for missing in action israly soldiers. this was a real shame and maybe something that would have been able to promote the israel society. i thing but might be mistaken that thne girls israel society are planning to sell these cds. furthermore i would like to thank don dons for continuinly making me feel proud to be part of the bests ztedakah department ever in his words. on the subject of dons we sore some realy posh dons in cambridge of which i was bunking for but with permision of course

Running an Israel Society in a school where most of the pupils aren't interested in Informal Activities, unless it involves a pool table, a PS2 and arm wrestling with Daniel Mitchell, is an unbelievably hard job to do, full credit to Dondons for the amount of stuff he does, believe me, you have no idea how much that boy does for the Israel Society, I mean, Gidi could you write a three page essay on the Tzedakah Department? I think the answer is no, I think its time that people stopped bashing the Israel Society and started supporting it, we have never stopped anyone from offering to help with an event, or come up with an event! gideon levy	posted 1/29/04 0:10 AM     Yes i could easily write a three page essay on the role and work and acheivements of the tzedokah department. in fact we as a department have written a twelve page report on such an issue which covers everything other than history in school as a tzedakah departments and our purpose/role for the department but if you want me to produce that i can and read the report it costs a small donation to tzedokah of £1. can i reiterate that i do not want to cause any effence to any member, personely of the israel society and am disgusted by the thought that i was doing this reply to deliberately be hurtful i was simply responding to deliberate misleading unjustly inaccuracies in doniels first essay that were harmful to our tremendous depatment. of course we can only run with the terific help that we get from all the 6th formers such as yourself who help with the hasmo fm cd and hence try to not be biased against any people individualy and any complaints will be taken very seriously by the leader of the tzedokah department.
